Résumé de section

  •

The General Council Executive meets in early May. This is an opportunity for you to engage with GCE members – soon after it happens. Whether you're a listener or a caller, this check-in is where French-speaking people in the United Church can have a conversation with leaders, in real time, and reflect and embrace the richness in our diversity and difference.

Join the General Secretary, Rev. Michael Blair; The Moderator, Rev. Dr. Kimberly Heath, and bilingual members of the General Council Executive LIVE ONLINE as they listen to the church across the country.

    Our GCE guests: TBA

Our Host (May 13):  Mark Laird

Mark is Executive Minister for Antler River Watershed, Horseshoe Falls and Western Ontario Waterways regional councils. He is a diaconal minister who served for 13 years in congregational ministry: four years at the Mono Mills Pastoral Charge near Orangeville, and currently as minister at Drayton United Church. In his current role, Mark resources the executives of each Regional Council on governance and administrative issues, and helping the wider church to be able to be who it is called to be. Mark loves to work for the wider church, and enjoys the opportunity his role gives him to worship with different communities of faith across the regional councils.
