Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign up for an event, program, or course on CHURCHx?


The first step is to locate the event, program, or course you want to access using our catalog.  Choose "Click to view details" to see the entire description. Then on the lower right part of the description you will see an "Enrol now" button. Use this and go through the steps that  follow to add this item to your profile or to create a new profile.

I signed up for a program. How do I access it?


Use the "Login" button on the upper right corner of this page to log into your CHURCHx account. You will see your "Dashboard" where all your current CHURCHx programs and events will be listed. Click on the image or title of the one you want to access. Each program page has what you need including Zoom links, material read, forums, and more.

I’m not very tech-savvy. Can I get help?


Yes, absolutely! We provide assistance to those who need a little help finding their path through our educational content. Just email us at help@churchx.ca. We respond within hours to all requests.

Who is responsible for this website?


CHURCHx is a project of the Innovative Ministry Centre at the Toronto United Church Council (TUCC). Offering access to professional advice, financial support, and leadership development, TUCC helps our church address the social and spiritual challenges of the day. TUCC is proud to partner with a variety of institutions including the General Council Office of the United Church of Canada to host their content on our platform.

I have forgotten my password, now what?


When you click on the "login" button on the upper right corner of the screen you can select the "Lost Password" link. Once you tell the system your username OR email address, a reset link will be sent to it.

What if my email address changes because I moved to a different church?


No problem. Once you've logged in, click on the person icon on the upper right and select "profile." On the next page you'll be able to "edit profile" in order to change your email address, username, password, and more. 






I want to put programs onto CHURCHx. Whom should I contact?
