I found the best that I can do is develop my prayers, complete the bulletin, and hand it over to the music director. It works well. Last week I had the image of light in the forest to describe people overcoming grief. She knew exactly what would fit. I also asked her to introduce a new song. She purposed the music and taught it to the choir. It was lovely.

It would be great to have a music director because choir music does enhance a service.
