Hi - My name is Doreen Coyne and I attend the St. Matthew's United Church in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
I have led a few services each year over the last 40 some years. I've also acted as the liturgist for some of our guest speakers/ministers. I have speaker experience from being a corporate speaker at the two technology companies I worked at for a total of over 40 years. They were kind enough to bring in TV camera people, speech-writing experts, and vocal coaches for those of us who did that kind of work for those companies.
I tend to use the "Gathering" for suggestions and information to form the basis of my bulletins but find I look at all 3 years to get a more rounded view of that the audience has heard on that Sunday over the years. I would like to be able to do this faster and ensure that I am engaging the audience as much as possible. Thus, I signed up for the course.
