Hello!

I am currently attending Eastside United Church in Regina.

I am on a journey to provide affirming services in Moose Jaw which is the area where I live. St. Andrew’s recently closed and was the only affirming Church in town, and its closure has caused a lot of pain.

I also founded and am the chair of PRISM Community Services Inc. which is Moose Jaws only 2SLGBTQIA+ non profit.

From taking a role in the Catholic Church, to founding my own heathen kindred which was hailed as the most inclusive in Canada, now to the United Church, and a total of 26 years in the military, it seems my purpose is to serve.

It seems like all my successes and failures has prepared me for the task in Moose Jaw. The arc of my life leads to this point. I feel the pain of the St. Andrew’s and 2SLGBTQIA+ community deeply.

I wish you every blessing on this important journey. As an LLWL in Indian Head, I actually had to take a time out for my sanilty because of the board's removal of the inclusive signs that the W&S Committee and I installed. The very closely came to closing last year. but some how managed to hang on and myself and another LLWL were invited back. Some of the older more traditional people have passed on, and they are much better at being open to change now. God bless you!
