My name is Miyanda Kasapu, and I am currently a member of Humber Valley United Church in Etobicoke, Toronto, Ontario, and will be taking the lay ministers course soon, hopefully to begin before the end of the year.
I hope to gain a deeper biblical understanding of the key topics mentioned (worship, prayer, and music) according to Scripture. I also hope to learn more about these areas within the United Church of Canada. I have preached a couple of times at my congregation when we were faced with a time we didn't have a minister. I also look forward to connecting with others and learning from their experiences, as I continue to grow in my journey of faith.
