Using the historical-critical method of biblical interpretation, this course examines the most-often cited biblical texts thought to refer to (and condemn) homosexuality.  How do these texts apply to our understanding of LGBTQIA+ people of faith today, if at all? The course also addresses possibly affirming stories in the Bible.

This course is presented Asynchronously online that allows students to view instructional materials each week at any time they choose and does not include a live video lecture component. However, there are weekly discussion threads which are where the bulk of the learning happens through engagement with course participants and course facilitator. Week by Week pace where individuals interact.
