TUCC’s Innovative Ministry Centre (IMC), in collaboration
with Cynthia Majewski, has created a tool to assess innovative ministries. The
tool, when used by a trained assessor, will provide an opportunity for people
engaged in new forms of ministry to share their story and explain ways in which
their ministry changed course as they progressed. It is useful to both
practitioners and funding agencies to be able to compare projects and document
lessons learned. The goal is to have a consistent and positive way talk about a
wide variety of different types of projects and contexts.
This course will train you to become a licensed user of the Ministry
Assessment Tool. You will be introduced to the Tool and the four steps for
using it and undertake practical exercises to ensure that you understand how to
use it accurately. The course also includes an extensive section on how to ask
questions using Appreciative Inquiry. You will complete a practice assessment
and then compare it to an actual evaluation of an innovative ministry. After
you have successfully completed the course, you will receive a license to use
the tool.
Course Type: Asynchronous, 5-7 hours to complete
The purchase of this tool is on behalf of yoru organzition, therefore you will receive a link via email to share with members of your team to join the training course.
The goal of this course is to enable learners to implement an
