During
this Lenten season, we will learn about the important roles that women played
in Jesus' story, who showed great faith, courage, and love. These women's
stories teach us about being humble, serving others, and having strong faith.
In these seven weeks, we will learn about Mary (Mother of Jesus,) Elizabeth,
the Syrophoenician woman, Mary and Martha, women and children in the Palm
Sunday crowd, the woman who anointed Jesus, and Mary Magdalene. As we go
through Lent, we can follow their example and try to be kind, helpful, and
faithful in our own lives. Their stories show us how important it is to love
and serve others, just like they loved and served Jesus.
We
encourage you to put together a lesson that works best with your group's needs
(ages, energy levels, one room/multi room, etc.) Reach out if you have any
questions or need any guidance.
