This
four-week lesson explores
the popular story of The Good Samaritan. The story of the Good Samaritan is a powerful
lesson Jesus taught about kindness, compassion, and loving our neighbours. In
this story, a man is hurt and left alone on the road. Several people pass by
without helping him, but finally, a Samaritan—a person from a group not usually
friendly with the man’s people—stops to help. Jesus uses this story to teach us
that our “neighbour” isn’t just the person who lives near us, but anyone who
needs our help, and we should show love and kindness to everyone, no matter who
they are.
We
encourage you to put together a lesson that works best with your group's needs
(ages, energy levels, one room/multi room, etc.) Reach out if you have any
questions or need any guidance.
