This four-week curriculum focuses
on the life and work of Amos, focusing on themes like fairness, caring for
those in need, and standing up for what's right. Participants will discuss how
these lessons are relevant to today's challenges, how to advocate for fairness
in their communities, and reflect on Amos' courage as a prophet who fearlessly
confronted injustice, despite facing opposition. We'll also highlight the importance
of speaking truth to power and challenging oppression.
We
encourage you to put together a lesson that works best with your group's needs
(ages, energy levels, one room/multi room, etc.) Reach out if you have any
questions or need any guidance.
