"Becoming the Beloved Community: An Online Journey Toward Racial Healing and Justice" is a course inspired by The Episcopal Church's commitment to racial reconciliation. This program invites participants to engage deeply with the four quadrants outlined in the Church's vision:
Telling the Truth: Examine historical and contemporary narratives about race within the Church and society.
Proclaiming the Dream: Envision and articulate what a transformed, inclusive community looks like.
Practicing the Way of Love: Develop habits and skills to foster reconciliation and justice in daily life.
Repairing the Breach: Identify and engage in actions that address systemic injustices and heal divisions.
Through a blend of multimedia resources, reflective exercises, and facilitated discussions, participants will explore their own identities, confront biases, and build strategies for meaningful change. This course aims to cultivate a community of learners dedicated to embodying Christ's love and justice in the world.
