In
Canada, May is recognized as Asian Heritage Month - a time to celebrate the
diverse cultures, histories, and contributions of people of Asian descent, both
in Canada and around the world. This month, we’ll journey across Asia to learn
about some of the major world religions practiced there, including Buddhism,
Islam, and Hinduism. We’ll explore their core beliefs, reflect on how they
compare with our Christian stories, and celebrate what makes each tradition
unique. As people of faith committed to building interfaith relationships, we
believe that God invites us to learn from one another, grow in understanding,
and embrace the beauty of our differences.
We
encourage you to put together a lesson that works best with your group's needs
(ages, energy levels, one room/multi room, etc.) Reach out if you have any
questions or need any guidance.
