This eight-part Lent to Easter curriculum uses Jesus’ command to the disciples to go and rest as the foundation of our lesson. Using ancient Spiritual Practices of Christian and other traditions, participants will explore different ways to be in prayer and relationship with God as they rest to take care of their body, mind, soul, and heart. The lessons are also designed to help participants prepare for and ground themselves in the season of Lent. We will look at the practices of giving things up (fasting), meditation, pilgrimage, solitude, journaling, serving others, giving gratitude, prayer, and celebration as our eight examples.

We encourage you to put together a lesson that works best with your group's needs (ages, energy levels, one room/multi room, etc.) Reach out if you have any questions or need any guidance.
