This four-week lesson explores the life of the prophet Samuel. Samuel’s mother promised Samuel to God if God helped her to have a child – so Samuel was born into devotion to God. He learned from the priest Eli in his early years until God called him one night and his life was forever changed. He lived from then on as a prophet of God and ultimately anointed King David as the King of Israel – considered one of the greatest kings of Israel. We will explore what it means to be devoted to God even when it’s hard, and how we can understand where God is calling us.
We encourage you to put together a lesson that works best with your group's needs (ages, energy levels, one room/multi room, etc.) Reach out if you have any questions or need any guidance.
