Vicki Nelson, Community of Faith Stewardship Support for the Western Regions Vicki is your go-to for all aspects of community of faith stewardship, including annual giving programs, year-round stewardship, Mission & Service, planned giving, the United Church Foundation and more. Vicki also brings her experience to the modules of Called to Be the Church: The Journey, the United Church stewardship program. Vicki is a life-long United Church member and has served in staff positions at Eastside United Church and Knox-Metropolitan United Church, in Regina; and as the Executive Director of Lumsden Beach Camp in the Qu’Appelle Valley. Beyond church organizations Vicki has several years’ experience working and volunteering with various non-profit organizations.

AI and Ministry - A Church
Tech Best Practices Webinar Wed June 18 from 6-7pm CST, 5-6pm MST
Session Description: How do you feel about AI? Curious?
Confident? Terrified? No matter where you are on the spectrum, the use of AI is
a hot topic with both opportunities and potential pitfalls for ministry. Tay
Moss, Director of ChurchX, is here to help guide us in possibilities for AI to
strengthen our ministry, and what to watch out for. Tay Moss is the Director of CHURCHx and Coordinator
of the Innovative Ministry Centre at TUCC. He's also an Anglican Priest serving
at St John the Baptist, Norway, Anglican Church in Toronto. Tay earned his
M.Div. from Yale Divinity School and has been involved in creative ministries
at the congregation and judicatory levels for the past 19 years. Some of his
projects have included developing social enterprises, video production,
arts-and-spirituality, food banks, continuing education for clergy in
transition, children’s ministry, creative-edge worship, running conferences,
and coaching churches investing grant money to grow in mission.
