Being a Licensed Lay Worship Leader can sometimes be lonely work. After a couple of years of intensive study in a small learning group, it can feel a bit disorienting to be leading worship in a variety of congregations without a reference group to offer connection and stimulation. These small groups are designed to bridge that gap, and provide an opportunity to connect with colleagues across the country, and stay sharp as we exercise our ministry skills. Connect with others who are doing similar sorts of ministry. Team up with a mentor who's been leading worship services for years. Explore new aspects of your own faith, and new ways of thinking about the challenges that Christians face in our time. Join one of the groups below, and find colleagues to journey with you as you push your own spiritual boundaries.

This Spring we are offering four Learning on the Way groups. Two (one led by Teresa Burnett-Cole and one led by Sandra Litt) will focus primarily on providing a forum for you to connect with other LLWLs for support and assistance in navigating the challenges of being an LLWL. You will also engage some important topics.  The two groups led by Christine Smaller will each focus on a particular topic. Lots to choose from!

These groups are intended for Licensed lay Worship Leaders who are for people who are looking for Continuing Education credits from their Regional Councils. It is expected that participants will attend all the classes and do the assignments related to each session, in order to receive credit for taking the course.
