Are you passionate about supporting migrant justice issues concerning better living conditions and adapting to life in Canada? We invite you to be a strong voice in our collective efforts with The United Church of Canada Migrant Justice Network. 

The network is:  

    • Migrants = International students, refugees, asylum seekers, immigrants, migrant workers and all the migrant sectors of Canadian society 

    • All those who see themselves aligned with the concerns of (im)migrants in Canada and globally 
    • A loosely knit group that comes together at least quarterly 
    • Membership is based on participation

Session Dates  - 3 sessions are offered. You may chose to attend the am or pm sessions. Just note the Tuesday evening session will be moved to the Wednesday evening (Feb 11 at 7pm ET) 

  • Tuesday February 10, 2026 - 1pm-2:30pm ET
  • Wednesday February 11, 2026 - 7pm-8:30pm ET
  • Tuesday April 14, 2026 - 1pm-2:30pm, and 7pm-8:30pm ET
  • Tuesday June 16, 2026 - 1pm-2:30pm, and 7pm-8:30pm ET 

What to Expect: The focus of these conversations will be the same in both time periods and will vary in content based on who is present.  

Our time together may include: 

    • Information sharing – what is happening locally & nationally 
    • Connecting to others doing similar work 
    • Discussion about intersecting issues with the offering and seeking of support  
    • Updates on civil society and ecumenical groups that connect with us through local and national work 
    • Advising general council
