Course Overview
This 2.5-hour refresher is for those who have completed the United Church Introductory course.
What You’ll Learn
We’ll revisit personal and professional boundaries and examine how financial practices and gift-giving affect pastoral relationships. Through case studies, you’ll explore:
- How to respond appropriately when offered gifts by parishioners.
- What resources are available if you face personal financial challenges.
- Best practices for managing congregational finances to protect and strengthen ministry.
By the end, you’ll leave with practical strategies to handle financial and gift-related situations with integrity, ensuring your leadership supports God’s mission and builds trust within your congregation.
